I thought I might try a few acrylic landscapes....acrylic is so forgiving!  Had so much fun painting this piece; it's colorful and fun.  Just the shape and size of the canvas makes it fun to look at!  There are so many layers of paint and you can really see and feel the texture.  I'm not sure that I would always paint this way because I love oil painting too much...but sometime something different is good for the creativity!

I remember cottonwood trees from when I was a little girl.  We lived near the Highline Canal in Littleton, Colorado, and cottonwoods were trees I looked at every single day.  They looked so huge, and I always thought they were such giants!
