- Char enjoys being spontaneous, creative, and colorful. Painting stimulates the mind and senses and she is constantly striving for a feeling of impressionism; which she finds emotionally and visually satisfying. Char loves to paint the simple beauty of her world. Her style is a mix of realism and looseness; suggesting rather than telling the whole story to the viewer. She calls this *impressionistic realism*. Her education is primarily in architectural drawing and drafting and she has been working in the field of architectural rendering full-time since 2001. Many nationally known mentors and artists have helped the direction of her artwork. She currently lives in Elizabeth, Colorado.
