"CURIOUS BLUE JAY" by Char Davis
"CURIOUS BLUE JAY"
OIL on board 6"x6"
$65.00 unframed, plus S&H
I am having so much fun painting birds! I took a workshop from an artist named Mike Beeman from Wyoming and he truly did teach me so much about painting wild birds. Learned how to make those nice soft and fluffy feathers using a really worn out brush that looks like a Phyllis Diller wig!! I am really addicted to painting birds right now so you can plan on seeing many more posts.

"TRIO OF RED"
I LOVE red geraniums...."who doesn't" I painted a really large painting of a row of about 9 clay pots of red geraniums for my kitchen. Everytime I walk into the kitchen and see that painting it makes me happy! This painting is a small section of that same painting and is also very cheerful! Very loose and colorful. Thanks for looking today.

"BANTAM ROOSTER"
"BANTAM ROOSTER"
Impressionistic Rooster - Acrylic
5"x7"
$30.00 unframed, free shipping
Now this is a rooster with an attitude! Bantam roosters are little tiny guys with great big attitudes; and are very fun to watch and paint. My neighbor has several Bantam roosters, one I named Napoleon because he's such a bossy little guy with the "little guy" complex!!

"LITTLE ROOSTER"
A fun little acrylic study today. These are little "studies" I do in preparation for a larger painting. Small studies are fun....I get to try out different colors, shapes, values, backgrounds, and paint with almost shear abandonment! What a cute little guy this one turned out to be.
